Basic Package Break
Down
TOTAL CHOICE® - This package
offers more than 155 channels as well as 50 XM Satellite Radio channels.
This is the most popular programming package offered by Directv®.
By offering more than 135 digital quality channels, this programming
package goes the extra mile in beating any cable base programming
package. Included are such networks as Comedy Central, VH1, MTV, CNN,
Lifetime, ESPN, HGTV and 31 music channels that are free from commercials.
TOTAL CHOICE® PLUS - This package
is TOTAL CHOICE® plus more! With this package you get more than 185
channels and 67 XM Satellite Radio channels. This Directv®
programming package will give you networks such as Discovery Kids,
PBS Kids, and The Science Channel and more. You might want to choose
this particular package if you happen to be a parent who is in search
of some quality educational programming for your children.
TOTAL CHOICE® PREMIER - This
one goes over and above the TOTAL CHOICE® PLUS package by offering
more than 250 channels and it includes premium movie channels as well
as sports networks. This package offers the ultimate experience for
those who are looking for a little more entertainment from their tv!
You get everything that TOTAL CHOICE® PLUS package offers plus all
5 Premium Movie Packages.
FAMILY CHOICE - This is a special
package that offers parental controls and more than 40 channels that
are suitable for viewers at any age. It includes the popular networks
for children, religious and general family entertainment channels.
Local channels are included with this package.
TITANIUM™ - This package features
every show, movie and sports subscription that is offered by Directv®.
It is only offered to a select few and you must be able to qualify
in order to be able to get this package. It can be quite expensive
and is only mentioned here for informational purposes.
Choosing a Basic
Package
There is no need to worry about selecting
your programming options when placing your order for Directv®
services. At the time of installation you will be able to choose your
programming package. When you initially sign up you may be asked to
select a programming package but this can be changed at the time of
installation or even before that if you should have a brain storm
and decide on a package that you simply must have.
Many people choose the basic TOTAL
CHOICE® package and then work their way up from there. At first you
may be mostly interested in cutting your monthly programming costs
to as low of a payment as possible. After time you may begin to realize
that for just a few dollars more per month, you could be getting much
more. In this case, all you would need to do is call the Directv®
customer service number and tell them that you have decided to upgrade.
They will handle it from there.
