Dish Network Local Channels

Dish Network local channels are available in select areas nationwide. The local channels package costs $5.99 per month and is available in over 170 cities. You will need to check for availability when you order Dish Network services so that you can see if local channels are available in your area. Local channels may not be currently available in your area but the coverage areas are constantly expanding.

There is a limit of one local channel package for each customer who is eligible. The channel selections will be different depending on the area where you live. Local Networks that are accessed through satellite tv are only made available to subscribers who happen to live in the local specified Designated Market Area (DMA) and the available cities are subject to change without notice.

When you subscribe to the Dish Network local channels you will be able to get local news, weather and sports from the popular local networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, WB, FOX channels and more. All of the channels that are available in your area, with a few exceptions, will also be available with your satellite TV programming package. With Dish Network local channels you generally get a better value than if you were to use your local cable television service provider.
